Party number Question
I can not find this info anywhere on line.
Can someone please tell me what I need to do in GW Prophecies to have 3 players in a party? I have a level 5 currently and I would like to invite more then 1 family member into the party. Thanks in advance. |

I am assuming you are in pre searing (all pretty and green?)
there is a party limit of 2 players in pre-searing, after you leave (go thru the searing) your party limit will increase to 4, untill then you are limited to 2 players (edit: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Ascal...pre-Searing%29 down on the Notes section 5th bullet : Party size is limited to two players)

you dont really need to do much in pre...you must select a secondary profession, doing that will open the quest that will take you out of pre.
so, simple answer--pick a secondary--you will need to talk with one of the profession trainers someplace in ascalon (mesmer is quickest as she is very close to the exit of ascalon city) talk to Armin Saberlin take the quest (yes I am really ready to leave!) and you are.....out of pre! http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/A_Second_Profession http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/The_Path_to_Glory

Although I'd suggest at least doing all the skill quests before leaving pre-searing.
And choosing your secondary only on the aspect of how quickly you can acquire it isn't exactly a great idea either imo. In general, one can find a lot of info on the official wiki (see cosyfiep's links). And this list in particular might be useful: http://guildwiki.gamepedia.com/Pre-Searing_checklist (most of the item suggestions can be safely ignored. I always get the belt pouch in pre, but that's no must. Tapestry Shred: If you really wanna do the quest in EotN you could quickly get the Shred with another char later and then transfer it. So not an absolute priority. Charr Bags take too long to get I'd say. The gold you should get just from playing. If you're a monk, just keep your starter armour as suggested - just in case) Last edited by naturelover; May 22, 2014 at 07:45 PM // 19:45.. |
